Unfortunately, the author of the game Water Sort is unknown; it was developed among many other games for the first phones with touch screens.

This game is perfect for touchpads, and has long been a classic of the genre along with pinball and Tetris. It was repeatedly borrowed from each other by different studios and developers, releasing it under different names for different platforms: from mobile devices to personal computers. The original name of the game is Water Sort, although it can be found online under dozens of other names.

Despite the large number of versions, the game has retained all the basic rules, and most importantly, its logical component. According to many experts, this game is capable of developing:

How to play Water Sort

The essence of the game corresponds to its name - Water Sort. As the game progresses, you will actually have to sort colorful liquids into containers, observing a number of rules and restrictions.

At the beginning of the game, there are several flasks in front of you, each of which is filled with liquids of different colors. It is obvious that these liquids have different densities and consistencies, since they do not mix with each other and are located in flasks one above the other. What is your task?

Game rules

In addition to the filled flasks, you are also provided with one or more empty flasks into which you can temporarily transfer colored liquids.

The ultimate goal of the game is to, through repeated transfusion, ensure that each flask contains liquid of only one color. In this case, the following rules must be observed:

Only one layer of liquid can be poured at a time - the top one.
The capacity of the flasks must not be exceeded. As a rule, they are divided into a certain number of divisions, beyond which it is prohibited to pour liquid.
If a filled flask is poured into an empty one, then the colors in it are arranged in the reverse order.

So, in order to get to the very bottom layer, the contents of the flask must be completely poured into an empty container (or into several containers). Then the bottom layer will be on top, and it can be used to pour into other containers.

How to solve the puzzle

You are not limited by the time and number of transfusions, and the ultimate goal is to find their correct order. Each move can be canceled by pressing the corresponding button, or (in some cases) simply pouring the liquid back.

To solve the puzzle faster, follow these simple tips:

Evaluate not only the location of different colored liquids, but also the remaining space in the flasks after pouring them.
Start the game with incompletely filled flasks (if there are any on the playing field). They are the easiest to reach the lowest layers.
Give preference to colors that are not available on the lower levels. The easiest way to assemble one-color flasks is from them.

Water Sort is a game based on a constant search of possible options. It is almost impossible to complete it without mistakes, and you will have to rewind your moves from time to time.
